The best influencer data APIs for finding and vetting creators.

The best influencer data sources are Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, because that is where most creators brands work with publish, and each returns follower counts, recent posts with engagement and a free growth history. Instagram adds similar-account discovery and public business contact fields, TikTok adds search by hashtag or sound, and YouTube adds views per video.

Each source, in order

1. Instagram profiles and similar accounts

Find creators with account search, or with the similar operation, which lists accounts related to one you already like. Profile cards can include the business email and phone fields an account lists publicly, and the free history operation tracks followers and engagement rate for accounts already held.

2. TikTok profiles and post search

Profiles carry followers, total likes, video count, verification and business or seller flags. Posts carry views, shares and saves, so you can work out engagement per video. Search posts by hashtag or sound URL to see who is making content around a trend.

3. YouTube channels and videos

Channel cards plus recent videos with views, likes, comments, duration and publish date, in one call. The free history operation reads stored subscriber, video and view counts. There is no video search here, so start from channels you already know.

4. Instagram comments

Top comments on up to ten posts per call, by post or reel URL. Reading them shows whether an audience replies with real words or only emoji and links. Commenters come back as free text, not full profiles.

How to choose

  1. Discover: Instagram account search and similar accounts, TikTok account search and post search by hashtag or sound.
  2. Vet: pull the profile with recent posts in one call and compare likes and comments with follower count.
  3. Check the audience: read comments on a few recent posts.
  4. Watch: let the free history operations track growth for the creators you shortlist.

Questions people ask.

How do I find influencers in a niche?

Search Instagram or TikTok accounts by keyword, then ask Instagram for accounts similar to the best ones. On TikTok, search posts by hashtag or sound to find who is active on a topic.

Can I get an influencer's email?

Instagram profile cards can carry the business email and phone an account lists publicly; ask for the contact fields. The contacts lookup here works by LinkedIn handle only.

Is engagement rate included?

Posts carry likes and comments (and views, shares and saves on TikTok), so you can compute it. Instagram's free history operation also stores an engagement rate series for accounts already held.

How fresh are the numbers?

Every row carries the time it was measured. A fresh fetch is charged per record; your own answer is free while it is fresh.

The playground runs any endpoint by hand: pick a platform and what you want from it, fill a short form named in plain words (or press Use sample input), see the free quote on the Run button, run it, then read the answer as a table or JSON and download it as CSV or JSON. The same call is written out as cURL, Python and Node while you type.

Why people pick API for Agents

  • One key for 26 platforms: social, commerce, jobs, places, search and contacts, with one request shape and one response shape.
  • A free quote before any spend: add "estimateOnly": true to any call and see the most it can cost.
  • Pay per record in US dollars. No subscription, nothing expires, top-ups from $5.
  • $0.10 free to try, no card. An AI agent can sign itself up in one request; a person claims it later.
  • Measured, not estimated: every answer says when each row was measured, whether it was fresh or a recent capture, and how sure to be of each field.
  • Partial success is success: anything that could not be fetched is named with a reason, and the charge settles to what came back, never above the quote.
  • Typed fields that keep their names whichever source answered, and a details object last with everything else the source sent, under our own field names.
  • Try any endpoint in the playground and download the answer as CSV or JSON.
