Prices and stock on quick commerce apps change from store to store. Name the store by pincode and city, by its store id or by coordinates, then search, read a category shelf, or read products by URL, as a shopper there would see them.

- Blinkit: from $0.0009 per record
- Instamart: from $0.0009 per record
- Zepto: from $0.0009 per record
- History: Free

## The workflow

1. Pick the pincodes to watch and add the city to each, so the pincode resolves to the right store.
2. Run search on Blinkit, Instamart and Zepto with your product query and store.pincode: listings with price, MRP, stock and rank.
3. Or run category with the app's own aisle and shelf names, such as Dairy, Bread & Eggs and Milk. A name that is not on the menu is refused and nothing is charged.
4. For products you follow by URL, run products: price, MRP, discount, stock count, rating, seller and manufacturer.
5. Keep the store id an answer gives you and send store.storeId next time. It is the most exact way to name a store.
6. Read history for free to chart price, discount_pct and stock_count from earlier captures, and run it on a schedule from your own job.

## Who uses it

- **[FMCG brands](https://apiforagents.dev/platforms/blinkit/category-api).** See where your products are out of stock, by area, and how your shelf looks next to competitors on the same store.
- **Retail analysts.** Price the same basket on all three apps at the same pincode and compare discounts.
- **D2C sellers.** Follow your own listings by URL for price, MRP and rating, and catch a stock-out early.

## Operations used

List prices per record. A call can carry a minimum, so quote first: the quote is free, and a record that does not come back is not charged.

| Step | Operation | What comes back | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Blinkit search | Listings with price, MRP, stock and rank at one store | $0.0009 per record |
| 2 | Swiggy Instamart search | Listings with price, MRP, stock and rank at one store | $0.0009 per record |
| 3 | Zepto search | Listings with price, MRP, stock and rank at one store | $0.0009 per record |
| 4 | Blinkit category | One shelf at one store, by the app's menu names | $0.0009 per record |
| 5 | Blinkit products | Price, MRP, discount, stock count, rating, seller, manufacturer | $0.0009 per record |

Instamart and Zepto have the same category and products operations as Blinkit.

> **Name the store exactly** Give the city with every pincode, then switch to the storeId the first answer returns. The pincode is resolved to the nearest serving store, and storeId removes any doubt about which one.

## Questions

### Which apps are covered?

Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart and Zepto, one store per call.

### How do I name the store?

With one of storeId, a 6-digit pincode (add the city when it is ambiguous), or lat and lon. storeId wins over the others.

### What if a category name is wrong?

Category and shelf must be the app's own menu names. A name that is not on the menu is refused and nothing is charged.

## Why API for Agents

- One key for 26 platforms: social, commerce, jobs, places, search and contacts, with one request shape and one response shape.
- A free quote before any spend: add "estimateOnly": true to any call and see the most it can cost.
- Pay per record in US dollars. No subscription, nothing expires, top-ups from $5.
- $0.10 free to try, no card. An AI agent can sign itself up in one request; a person claims it later.
- Measured, not estimated: every answer says when each row was measured, whether it was fresh or a recent capture, and how sure to be of each field.
- Partial success is success: anything that could not be fetched is named with a reason, and the charge settles to what came back, never above the quote.
- Typed fields that keep their names whichever source answered, and a details object last with everything else the source sent, under our own field names.
- Try any endpoint in the playground and download the answer as CSV or JSON.

## Start

The playground runs any endpoint by hand: pick a platform and what you want from it, fill a short form named in plain words (or press Use sample input), see the free quote on the Run button, run it, then read the answer as a table or JSON and download it as CSV or JSON. The same call is written out as cURL, Python and Node while you type. Open it at https://apiforagents.dev/dashboard/run (sign in first).
